Jedi Training

Check out that flexibility!

The one thing that Owen really wanted to do was the Jedi Training Academy at Hollywood Studios. In order to do so, you have to be picked out of the crowd randomly, so Jonathan and I were nervous that he wouldn't be picked. He and Jonathan got there early for a front row spot in hopes that he would be picked. He even wore Daddy's Star Wars hat to show that he was a true fan! When the guy went around picking kids for the show, he pointed to Logan first - Logan didn't even know what was going on and we thought we were in for a total melt down from Owen. Luckily, he picked Owen too. So, we had two Jedis in the family. It was so funny - Logan was a show stopper - literally. He couldn't work the lightsaber, so the guy would keep giving him another one. At one point, he told the kids to turn and face the crowd. Logan stood there and didn't follow directions. The guy tried turning him and Logan didn't move his feet. He looked so serious and refused to turn around. The guy said "Good Flexibility he has. A true Jedi." It was so funny! Anyways, both boys got to fight Darth Vader and are now certified Jedis. Daddy was in his glory and the boys had a wonderful time. It was truly one of the best times of our trip.
