Birthday Party

Today we went to our nephew, Connor's 4th birthday party. It was held at the Lutherville Volunteer Fire Dept. The kids learned a lot about fire safety and they had a great time. They rode on a fire truck and even got to shoot a fire hose. It was nice spending some time with the family.

Dewey Beach

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Dewey Beach! It's always great spending time watching the cousins play and interact-not to mention sitting on the beach relaxing. We had great weather most of the week - only one really rainy day. We enjoyed jumping the waves, boogie boarding, digging in the sand, and eating lots of yummy food! It was another great week at the beach - can't believe it's come and gone already. Here are a few of the 1000 pictures I took this week - Enjoy!

Sweet little Maisie - what a cutie pie!

Emma was really into boogie boarding - Owen didn't try it as much.

Logan liked splashing around in the waves.

Beach Beauty

My handsome nephew!

These two were trouble! They had quite the love/hate relationship!

My cool beach guy!

Owen loved his shades!

The cousins in the hole - little prairie dogs.

Connor cheesing it up

We took the kids out on the beach at night when it was a full moon. It was absolutely beautiful. A man on the beach was fishing and brought over a sand shark he had caught! We really had a good time sitting on the beach and looking at the stars. I thought this was a cool shot of Jonathan and Emma in the moonlight.

Logan and Connor checking out an "un"lucky ladybug.

The whole family went mini golfing in Ocean City. Although it was very hot, we had a fun time.

Funland Fun! Gotta love the Freefall ride!

Pure joy on their faces!

My handsome Owen

Maisie wanted to be just like her big cousins! Here they were playing with I pods.
Logan posing with a sailboat in the background.
Owen riding with the shark that he and Daddy built.
Here is the annual family shot that we took. Every year we attempt to get a good family shot - despite many protests and unhappy campers, I think we did alright.
Memaw and Pepaw with their five beautiful grandchildren!
Brett, Katie, Connor, and Maisie - the best sister in law and brother in law a girl could ask for! Love you guys!
Our family shot - our kids are growing up so fast!
The cousins from oldest to youngest.
Jonathan and Emma
My crazy boys!
Our beautiful Emma - can't believe she will be in 5th grade this year!

Until next year.....thank you Memaw, Pepaw, Brett, Katie, Connor, and Maisie for another wonderful week of memories!

The Long Process Begins

We have decided that now is as good as time as any to try and sell our house and move to a bigger one - so, we are in the process of getting our house ready to put on the market. In order to make our house appear "normal" Jonathan has been packing up his Star Wars collection. He has been working into the wee hours of every night packing things up. I have spent my summer cleaning out closets and sneezing through lots of dust. This weekend we started moving his collection to storage. I, of course, am very excited to actually have a basement again. Jonathan is sad to see his stuff go - although it will be back to clutter our new house - I mean to be displayed in our new house. We took the seats out of the mini van and loaded it up many times with trips to the storage unit. The kids were great helpers and had fun playing with some of the toys. Of course...we got yelled at all the time for bending things or not being careful enough - so we finally gave up.
Anyways...we got most of his stuff moved this weekend. A few more trips and I will have a basement again. My task this week is to get the toy room turned back into a dining room. I'll let you know if we succeed!
How do you like the R2D2 coolers guarding the unit? Nice, huh?
Owen..child labor...helping move Daddy's stuff.
Owen imitating Jar Jar's display.
Logan's turn!
Logan's sad eyes when Daddy wouldn't let him open this "awesome" bike!
Beautiful blue eyed boy!
Foosball - you would think they were the luckiest kids ever - two video games, Star Wars foosball - they don't know how good they have it. Now...we won't be able to afford college because of the toys, but....LOL!
Emma...checking it all out!
Checking out Daddy's toys.
Day #2 - more helping hands - sneaking a peek in the boxes.
