Characters

We met a lot of characters. The kids got their autographs and posed for many pictures. It was neat how each of them had their favorites. Emma loved Minnie Mouse, Owen loved Stitch, and Logan liked Chip and Dale. Emma and Owen had a collection of their favorite characters by the time we left today. We ate breakfast with Pooh and friends. We also had dinner with Mickey and friends at Chef Mickeys. The other characters we saw in the parks. Here are just a few of our favorites!

We Survived!

Well, we had a wonderful time on our Disney trip! It was exhausting and extremely hot, but no matter how bad the kids were, it still is a magical place. We were so busy every day, that by the time we got back to the room, we literally fell into bed. Sorry I didn't get to post too often. I took 1600 pictures! So, I will try to post different parts of our trip over the next few days. We made some wonderful memories - can't wait to share some of them with you!

Disney Hollywood Studios

We had a much better day today! DHS was a lot of fun! We started the day early and enjoyed an extra hour at the park this morning at 8:00. It was nice because we went right in and rode the Tower of Terror! Emma was a bit scared, but she went through with it and actually loved it. It was so much fun! We rode the Rock and Roll Rollercoaster (all except Logan), Star Tours, and saw a lot of great shows! We had a little bit of rain, but luckily it started while we were in the Indianna Jones Show. Unfortunately they couldn't finish the stunt show, but most people left and we were able to get an autograph with Indiana Jones! The boys were thrilled! We waited for the rain to stop, and then we enjoyed the parade. We did a little souvenir shopping and had dinner at the 50s Prime Time Cafe. After a long day, we came back to the Lodge and swam in the pool a little bit.

All in all, it was a great day! We are having fun! Tomorrow morning we have breakfast with Pooh and friends! Can't wait!

We Made It!

Greetings from Disney! We made it and are having a great time. We got down here with little hassle. The flight was a good one, we got through security okay and the kids were well behaved.

We checked into our room and headed straight over to the Magic Kingdom. We packed a lot into an entire day. We rode Space Mountain (Emma's favorite), the tea cups, magic carpet ride, Pirates of the Carribean, Great Thunder Mountain, and a few others along the way. We only had a few meltdowns alont the way...but nothing major. The most magical moment of the day was dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table. We met Cinderella and made our way to dinner. We had a fantastic waiter, a delicious dinner (Logan fell asleep)and a few surprises for Nana's birthday. We had a special floral arrangement delivered at the beginning of the meal and for dessert, we had a special chocolate slipper delivered. The waiter brought it out with a candle and we all sang happy birthday to Nana. After a wonderful dinner, we ended the night watching fireworks from the castle. It was truly magical. We were totally exhausted, but everyone slept well.

Today we went to Epcot - and didn't have quite as nice of a day. It seems that everyone was tired and grouchy and didn't care for Epcot as much. We had a few fun moments, but I was glad when I got everyone in bed. Tomorrow we're headed to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Hopefully everyone will be well rested. Talk to you soon!

One More Day!

I can't believe we have only one more day before Disney! We are mostly packed - everything except my husband's stuff. He doesn't like to pack until the night before and I'm certainly not going to do it. Last time I did, I forgot one little thing - his underwear! Now, he's responsible for packing his own stuff.

I have all of the kids stuff packed. They each have their own backpacks to carry on the plane. I have to make sure I go through them before we leave. Owen was putting books in there earlier. One or two is fine, but he was loading it down! My luck, he'll put a knife or something like that in there!!! It'll be hard enough to get the kids and my mother through security.

I took Owen for his EKG today. He did fine. After it was over, he kept the little electrode stickers so he could torture his sister. What a nice brother he is! Let's hope that the results come back quickly! Each day he seems to get worse!

If I don't get a chance to post before we leave, Happy Independence Day! I'm sure I'll post from Disney - until then, see ya!

I am crazy!

Emma gets a henna tattoo.

Logan gets a henna tattoo.

Owen and his buddy playing the Wii.

Emma receives a game ball from her coach.

We had a fun, but hectic day. Emma and Owen each had a friend over today. I find that it is easier if each one of them has somebody to play with - otherwise they are in each other's business. They all played pretty nicely. They boys mostly played Wii and the girls did their own thing. Logan is pretty easy to entertain, so for the most part it was fine.

Emma's friend Bailey brought henna to do tattoos. She put one on Emma and did a great job. Of course Logan wanted one too, so she made him a train. He smeared it - go figure, so now he has a train wreck on his leg! Good thing it only last a week and a half! Ha!

Emma had her last softball game tonight! Woo hoo! She received a game ball, so she was excited! Of course, later in the car she told me that she didn't do anything, coach just wanted everyone to have one. Boy...she catches on quick. Anyways, we tried to convince her that she did deserve it. She got on base and scored a run. She says she wants to give it another try next Spring.

Only 3 more days until Disney! I can hardly stand it anymore! I think I'm worse than the kids. Until next time!
